I'm hosting my 3rd Annual Accessory and Clothing Swap at my home next week, enter to win and I will do some personal shopping for YOU at my swap and mail you a box of secondhand finds.
What, you don't wear second hand? Then let's call it vintage and think of the money you'll be saving. For inspiration on wearing vintage, check out at Danielle's wonderful What To Wear Wednesdays on her eco-friendly blog Fresh Quince. Here's an image from one of her February posts:
{Danielle's consignment finds at Current Boutique in Arlington} |
{apt. 9 ruffled shirt} |
How cute is this for a Spring day with dark cropped jeans, sandals, and a ponytail?
{Dani Max sleeveless shift dress with piping detail} |
This smart little dress is a favorite, so classic with a bit of graphic retro styling...
{Anne Taylor shell} |
Perfect to layer in my new favorite color...
So let me shop for you! Just leave a comment below with what you'd be looking to score at my swap for a chance to win.

ReplyDeleteJust posted via FB! Seriously, what a great V-Day treat!
ReplyDeleteI love second hand finds and wear them all the time - there is nothing nicer than a piece finding a new home :) I love tunics in paler pinks, greens or black - I am a total black girl - half my wardrobe is black ... with a touch of retro is cool too - I am loving the one you have pictured here :) le xox
ReplyDeleteOh, I love anything vintage. I would spend all my time in second hand shops if I could. I guess mostly I try to score dresses, jewelry, hats.

Oh, I don't mind an extra dress or handbag!
ReplyDeleteHow cool though, clothing swap? I should be thinking about doing one myself!
I have never bought "vintage" clothing, but you've inspired me! I don't think I have an adversion to it, but rather I just never thought to do it...mind changed!
ReplyDeleteLoretta, am so excited about this, because I want to do a swap night too. Will be following all your tips on what to do! As you know I don't wear black but I never have enough handbags to accessorise with. Love anything vintage and slightly preppy. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteLoretta- this is awesome! I love your style...you can 'vintage' clothing shop for me all day long! I think these swaps are such a great idea. Sometimes we just get sick of our own stuff, but that doesn't mean it is out of style! I have thought about doing a home accessory swap... Let me know how it goes...-Ann
ReplyDeleteoh what fun . I would love handbags and tunics or dress in a maxi type of style
