Until then, the next best thing are the markets and open air produce stands in New York City. I was lucky enough to be in NYC recently, and got my hands on some beautiful produce, including the most delicious apples from a Farmer's Market in Jackson Heights, Queens.
Are the farmer's markets open for business where you live? Or, like here, do you have to wait for warmer weather?

That's a great picture of you Loretta. We have to wait for the warmer weather since everything comes right out of the ground here and I can't wait! I hope you're doing well.

We have the most wonderful farmer's market in our town and can hardly wait for it to open...great photo!!
ReplyDeleteThat is the beauty of northern california. In Oakland we have a large farmer's market in walking distance of our home-year round. They always have a bounce house too, so the kids love it!
ReplyDeletePS, I'm doing a giveaway on my blog ($25 Macy's gift card) I can't get anyone to play... so at least the odds are good! Stop by!

Oh I love Farmers Markets and we have several here in the Nashville area that stay open all year round.
ReplyDeleteLoving seeing your photo here - you look so pretty and full of spring spirits!
