Organic Cotton Target Sheets on Sale, and A Winner!

{Target Threshold 325 Thread Count Organic Cotton Sheet Set in Purple Floral}
I am  minimalist when it comes to sheets in the house - a simple two sets per bed. I bought new sheets for the girl's beds two years ago at a big box store in the sale bin - they were a cute pink floral pattern and only $20 a set, BUT they were thin as tissue paper out of the packaging, and started pilling as soon as they were washed.

So how happy was I to find these organic cotton sheets on sale at my local Target?

{just the pattered sheets were on sale at the store}
... and just under twenty dollars! We have a set of these Target Threshold 325 Threadcount Organic sheets on my queen size bed in solid white and in solid grey, and they have held up very well.

Just the pattered sheets were on sale at the store - I guessed that they must be retiring those patterns to make way for new designs. Later, I searched the Target website, and here's some new patterns I haven't seen yet on the store shelves:

I actually like the simple purple floral pattern I bought better than the fussier new floral patterns.  But I do like the new grey and white check pattern. It would be perfect for a boy's room. Son H might get a new set, soon!

  1. Sheets must be on everyone’s mind since I too just purchased some. Bed, Bath and Beyond was having its February white sale and I had clipped a 20% off coupon from a magazine. So yesterday I headed over and bought Egyptian cotton sheets and towels. I only buy white sheets since pattern seems to keep me awake.

    Congratulations to the lucky winner of your beautiful necklace!

    1. Debra- So funny about sleeping with patterned sheets! I have to have more color and pattern on my sheets, then I am more likely to change them - it's more noticable!

  3. I am a minimalist, too! No point in having too many sheet sets when only one at a time can go on the bed!!

  4. I left my pillow at home when going camping this summer, so I drove to a nearby Target store and bought a new pillow. It needed a new pillowcase, so I went over to bedding and found these Threshold Organic pillowcase sets. I bought a solid blue one for my new pillow. It being summer, I was super impressed at how much cooler it kept the pillow on those hot summer nights, so much so that on my way home from vacation, I went back to that Target store and bought the solid blue sheet set to put on my bed when I got home. I was amazed at how cool, comfortable and soft it was, so much so that I went to my local Target and bought the solid purple and green botanical set and ordered the pink floral set online. I now have four sets of these beautiful and comfortable organic cotton sheet sets. Right now, the purple one is on the bed and even it being late fall, snowy and cold outside, I am amazed at how soft and warm my organic cotton sheets are. The blue set survived its first washing beautifully with no problems whatsoever to report. Best investment I ever made. I hope that these last for years to come!
