The "shot" is used to polish metal. Add the shot and a few drops detergent to a tumbler along with the metal to be polished. Here I'm polishing some sterling silver earwires I made!

Interesting, I though you polished by hand but this sounds like it might be easier.
ReplyDeleteDebra- You can polish by hand, too - but this is much safer and much more eco-friendly. You don't have to deal with the silica dusts that can be put in the air with sticks of polishing compound...
