The BEST Places To Buy Kid's Fall Clothes!

{starting Kindergarten this September!}
Here's Son H in his new outfits. New-to-me, that is. These clothes were bought second-hand. Wasn't he sweet to pose for me? I did have to bribe him with chocolate chips!

I buy (and sell!) a lot of clothing at the Pass-It-On Children's Consignment Sale in Albany, New York. Kids grow so fast, you can get amazing deals on "gently used" clothes that have lots of wear left in them. Two dollar size 5 boys Tommy Hilfiger jeans, anyone? The sale is going on now and ends this Saturday.

Find a kid's consignment sale near you with this cool website.

  1. I love that sale! I went to one here last fall and made some great finds, but sadly missed the one this past spring. But I don't want to miss the next one! Our church is having one soon too.

  3. Your son is a handsome one Loretta and looks like he was meant for modeling. Great prices and what a smart way to save money.

    P.S. Comment on my blog, yes we live deep in the country and don't have much here but we love it. Thank God for computers!

  5. Your little guy is absolutely adorable!!! The mothers of multiples group that I'm involved with has a HUGE consignment sale 2x per year. It is an awesome way to sell your gently used clothes and buy "new to you" clothes for a steal. Love it!

  7. 1.I love the Pass it On sale. This will be my fifth time attending, and I always feel like I get such a great deal!I found a pair of boys Keen sandels for $4.00. They retail for $50. For all of the adults out there that want a sale for them, The Old is New Sale,
    www.oldisnewsale.com is the same idea but for grown-ups. It is at The Albany Academy Field House in June, and they are still accepting consignors. Sign up to sell your clothes and furniture, or just mark it on your calendar to shop!
